Made homely food, but took photos like a grandpa :D aesthetics at a later point, accountability first.

Basale Kodilu

A side for rice with a lentil & coconut base which soaks malabar spinach & sprouts

The coconut base also containers coriander seeds, roasted chana dal, jeera and red chilly.

All topped up with an oggarane with the right amount of red chilly, garlic and caramelized onions🤤🤤

Godi dose with a fresh batch of podi

Dosa is made from a batter of atta, onion & tomato with a teeny tiny bit of salt. Tomatoes and onions should be finely diced. I add green chilly because I like my godi dosa a bit spicy.

Podi

The podi is a traditional tamilian accompaniment for dosa. This recipe is close to what I ate from my neighbours growing up.

Its basically kashmiri chilli, salt, urad dal, bengal gram, sesame seeds, roasted and grinded to a fine powder. I also chose to add curry leaves.

You pair the podi with warm coconut/sesame oil. In case you have access to high quality ghee you can pair that too.

I'm waking up the the fact that with a bit of prep, you can basically cook and eat food in under 20 mins during your workday, and this is cheaper and 10x better than ordering in.

I'm curious to see how my cooking skills evolve, and heck if this is a regular feature I better make a space to take ✮⋆˙ aesthetic ✮⋆˙ photos.

Can't call myself a designer and disregard the presentation bit ;)
